I wanted to add more flashes of colour through the pages and I thought the best way to do this was through stitching red sails and windows on some of the drawings.
My project started to take form in books which brought a new twist to the way I work. The mono printed images show the story unfolding through the different layers of concertina pages showing the memories of living by the sea when I was younger.
